How is Landulph Festival funded?
Landulph is a small Parish of about 500 people in rural Cornwall but the Festival of Music & the Arts has been running since 2002 with only one break for Covid (see history). The Festival and other events are run by Landulph Festival CIC, a not for profit Community Interest Company which reinvests any surplus for community benefit. The Company is funded by ticket sales, sponsorship by local companies, donations from patrons, purchase of season tickets and volunteers giving their time for free. Without these forms of support we would not be able to continue. We aim to offer the local community a wide range of musical and other events from both local and international artists. Our annual festival includes an art exhibition where local artists can sell their art on a commission-free basis. Where possible we fund visits to Landulph School by our performers.
