The Jopes Ensemble will perform a vibrant programme of music for string orchestra. The warmth of the string orchestra has inspired composers through the ages to write some of their finest music and this concert will bring that music to life.

The Jopes Ensemble is a handpicked collective of professional musicians from across the South West. They have given sell-out concerts across the region, most recently with a concert of Bach Brandenburg Concertos by Candlelight. Whilst aiming for the highest professional standards, the group maintains an informal approach, and all their concerts are introduced with interesting background about the composers and their music.
